SonicWALL Launches Email Security Tool For VARs  By Mike Sachoff
Network security firm SonicWALL, has introduced its SonicWALL Email Security Virtual Appliance aimed at protecting mid-to-large enterprises and managed service providers. Businesses can more easily scale up or down their email security solution to meet their changing business needs. VARs and managed service providers (MSPs) can utilize the multi-tenant capabilities to provide flexible services to multiple customers. Virtualization as a deployment option provides greater flexibility, scalability, and resiliency. "SonicWALL's Email Security solutions protect some of the world's largest companies from the waste of SPAM and the malware that SPAM distributes," said Patrick Sweeney, Vice President of Product Management, SonicWALL. "But businesses, MSPs, and VARs need more than just the most effective solution. They need the most cost effective and flexible deployment options, as many weigh how best to utilize resources internally, or whether to move to cloud-based infrastructures. Now, companies have all the options they need to stay competitive, and stay protected." The SonicWALL Email Security Virtual Appliance is the latest addition to the company's expanding Security Virtual Appliance portfolio, which includes the SonicWALL Global Management System Virtual Appliance and ViewPoint Virtual Appliance announced last month.
