VARs Reach 25th Anniversary With Autodesk

It's not every day - or even every week or quarter, it seems - that something tech-related reaches a 25th anniversary or birthday. Autodesk and an additional ten companies have cause to be rather proud, then, as ten value-added resellers recently celebrated 25 years as Autodesk partners.

Cideon, Eberhard Systems, Man and Machine, Mid-West CAD, Peterschinegg, Studica, Synergis Technologies, Teaching Systems, Technical Training Aids, and Varitronics are the ten VARs that have done so well to stick around for so long. They're located in spots including the US, the UK, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, and Germany, which is an impressive spread.

Ken Bado, Autodesk's executive vice president of sales and services, also applauded the actual work that these organizations have done by stating, "It is with great pleasure that we congratulate this year's Silver Anniversary VARs for consistently providing superior service and support to their customers."

And in case you want to know a little more about the Autodesk organization and how it relates to VARs, an official press release continued, "This year's Silver Anniversary VARs are part of a larger global network comprising more than 1,900 channel partners, all of whom help customers across multiple industries, including architecture, engineering and construction; manufacturing; automotive; utilities and government; telecommunications; gaming; TV and film."

So maybe we'll see some more VARs demonstrate their staying power in the near future.
