Verio, a provider of online business tools to SMBs, and Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions, have announced a North American distribution agreement.

Through the Arrow Fusion Professional Services Program, Arrow ECS will connect its global network of value-added resellers (VARs) to Verio's full suite of services including Verio's Virtual Private Servers , Managed Private Servers, Shared Hosting, Domain Name Registration, Hosted Microsoft Exchange and SharePoint, and other SaaS solutions.

Arrow ECS will work directly with Verio's sales force to identify new VAR opportunities and educate VARs about the value of offering hosted solutions, and how those solutions can help minimize the typical time required to generate new customer revenue.

Arrow ECS VARs can now offer hosting and other managed solutions to their existing customers and prospects, representing an alternative form factor to traditional information technology services.

Also, they can take advantage of the additional professional services offerings that are backed by the viaVerio Partner Program and its benefits.

"We continue to focus on enhancing our value for resellers by providing a broad range of products and services that will help them meet their customers' demands, increase their portfolio of offerings and create new revenue opportunities," said Joe Burke, vice president of worldwide services for Arrow ECS.

"Our agreement with Verio enables us to deliver award-winning hosting solutions that will strengthen our value proposition for resellers while also expanding the Arrow Fusion Professional Services program."

The viaVerio Partner Program achieved record growth in 2009, through the company's recruitment of more than 650 new VARs to the program. On the heels of this success, Arrow ECS' programs focus on professional services and broad universe of VARs provide the perfect opportunity for continued growth.

"We continue to build upon our indirect channel and establishing a relationship with a global distribution partner was key to our continued growth," said Steve Renda, senior vice president, global sales and marketing for Verio.
