Transmode Gives VAR Awards

Some leaders in the value added resellers industry have once again been singled out. Transmode recently named the winners of its 2010 Value Added Resellers Awards, and Telindus and Cygate were the companies that came out on top.

Telindus earned the title "Most Successful VAR 2010" due to its revenue figures from 2009. Industry experts who are focused on turning a profit might do well to imitate its successful business model, then.

Cygate, meanwhile, won the Service Partner 2010 award, which is a slightly different sort of honor. Transmode explained that Cygate succeeded in this respect "due to the investment it made in both time and energy by extending its customer base through an extensive range of value added services."

So perhaps it's possible to learn a lot from it, as well.

Anyway, Transmode's vice president of sales, Bjorn Andersson, concluded in a statement, "Our Value Added Reseller network is an intrinsic part of Transmode's market strategy and I welcome the opportunity to recognize these VARs for their talent and achievements. The VAR network extends Transmode's reach and provides customers with local services and the ability to bring products together from a range of equipment providers to create end-to-end solutions specific to customers' needs."

That could be interpreted as a nice compliment for the VAR industry as a whole.
